Meet Your Advisors

Undergraduate advising is supported by faculty within the Department of Nutritional Science and by professional advising resources across CAHNR.

From your first semester in Nutritional Sciences, you are paired with a dedicated faculty advisor who is invested in your academic and professional journey. You will meet at least once each semester to design a plan of study tailored to your specific area of specialization and graduation timeline. Advising goes well beyond selecting courses. Your advisor serves as an accessible mentor to help you discover research opportunities, internships, and career pathways across nutrition, dietetics, and health sciences. Advisors also help students develop longer-term academic and career goals. Faculty-student interaction often continues beyond graduation.
