Early College Experience

UConn’s Early College Experience (ECE) program allows motivated high school students to earn UConn credits while still in high school at a fraction of the cost of regular tuition. Through the Department of Nutritional Sciences, students can explore college-level coursework focused on nutrition, health, food, and the science of human wellbeing. These courses provide an opportunity to experience the rigor of a UConn education, strengthen academic preparation, and explore potential career interests in health care, public health, nutrition, and related fields before beginning college.

Taught by certified UConn ECE instructors at partner high schools, these courses can help students transition successfully to higher education while saving time and money.
