Food and Health Sciences Track
The Food and Health Sciences track provides students with a strong foundation in nutrition and the sciences that support the study of human health. Because nutrition is a broad and interdisciplinary field, this flexible track allows students to customize their academic experience by exploring areas that align with their interests and career goals.
Students complete core coursework in nutrition and the sciences while choosing additional courses that reflect their individual interests. Whether you’re interested in nutrition research, community health, public health, food systems, or related fields, the Food and Health Sciences track provides the flexibility to build a personalized academic pathway. This track is also well suited for students transferring into the major later in their undergraduate studies.

The flexibility of the track also allows students to tailor coursework to support a variety of graduate and professional goals.
Students interested in further strengthening their preparation may also consider the Nutritional Sciences Accelerated BS/MS program [link to Accelerated Program], which provides a streamlined pathway to both bachelor’s and master’s degrees.
